Carbon Nexus is a founding member of the Advanced Fibre Cluster Geelong, a group of local companies clustering together to improve their productivity and increase their growth.
Deakin University, through Carbon Nexus, was the official Education Partner for the SuperFoiler Grand Prix. These high-speed foil-borne racing boats are fully constructed of carbon fibre composites. Carbon Nexus designed and supplied the 2018 Ben Lexcen Trophy for the series of six regattas around Australia.

Every two years Carbon Nexus arranges and hosts the Carbon Fibre Futures conference, a global forum for interchange between industry and academics engaged in the carbon fibre field.
