Maxime joined the Carbon Nexus team as the Research and Innovation Leader in April 2018.
During his doctoral studies undertaken at Deakin University, Maxime co-invented technologies capable of reducing the processing time of carbon fibre manufacture from 80 minutes to 15 minutes. Maxime is currently leading the technical development of the new technology licensed to LeMond Composites.
During his doctoral studies Maxime spent 4 years operating carbon fibre production lines at Carbon Nexus. Maxime has liaised with multiple international customers and gained experience running different types of processing technologies and precursors. He also led several research and development programs, from low cost to high performance.
